About

      Miguel De La Rosa  is a versatile composer specialized in music for visual media and concert performances.

Born in Mexico, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Music at the University of the Americas in Puebla, gaining experience with orchestras, vocal ensembles, and soloists as a Composer, Arranger, and Conductor. 

 

He developed a profound passion for baroque music during his undergraduate studies, with a particular focus on organ music. He participated in the organ workshop at the Mexican Academy of Ancient Music for Organ  and studied under esteemed mentor Gustavo Delgado Parra. This experience ignited a lifelong dedication to organ music performance.

Continuing his pursuit of excellence he obtained a Master's degree in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games at Berklee College of Music's Valencia Campus. Recently, he achieved an Artist Diploma at the prestigious Royal College of Music in London, where he engaged in collaborative projects within the vibrant creative scene of the city. Miguel is also a proud Alumni of  London’s finest postgraduate community Goodenough College, where he passionately shared his love for music and premiered works during his stay at the College. 

 

His expertise spans various audio-visual projects, including short films, animated shorts, concert music and documentaries, with recordings in renowned studios like Air Lyndhurst Studios, East-Connection Studios, Angel Studios, Belle Shenkman Studio, Ann Kreis Scoring Stage and The Palau de les Arts. His concert compositions have premiered in venues such as Puebla’s City Cathedral, Auditorium Guillermo & Sofia Jenkings, St. Gabriel’s Parish in Cholula, Goodenough College, and the Royal College of Music’s Recital Hall. 

Miguel remains dedicated to his musical pursuits, consistently delivering captivating compositions and performances showcasing his diverse talent.
